During the postpartum period, the body is undergoing a significant recovery after pregnancy and birth.
To support optimal recovery, especially of the pelvic floor muscles, it is recommended to avoid excessive strain and to wait at least 10–14 days before engaging in more intensive babywearing.
In the first days and weeks, it is important to listen to your body, avoid prolonged carrying unless truly needed, and, when possible, let another caregiver or close family members take on the carrying.
