Topa-Top Baby Carrier Comparison Table
Features available in all Top-Top carriers:
- Allows comfortable and discreet breastfeeding.
- Includes a head cover for the baby, useful during sleep, nursing or in strong winds.
- Option to attach an external pouch for small items (diaper, keys, wallet, toy, etc.).
- Can be worn with parallel straps (ideal for back carrying) or crossed straps (X-shape) for optimal weight distribution during front carrying.
- Straps can be adjusted in both directions for precise tightening.
- Adjustable panel (carrier seat) to fit the baby’s age and weight.
- Adjustable belt and shoulder straps to accommodate the parent’s build and size (fits sizes 34–50).
- Can be used for front, back, and hip carrying (except for Onbuhimo).
Note:
We recommend prioritizing back and hip carrying over outward-facing front carrying.
Outward-facing carrying does not provide sufficient support for the baby’s back, overstimulates sensory systems, and may cause excessive strain.

Comparison of Wrap and Half-Wrap Carriers:
Most wrap and half-wrap carriers are suitable for parents with sizes 34–50, but extreme sizes may require custom adjustments.
Long woven wraps are sold by size.
All wrap carriers evenly distribute weight across both shoulders, except for ring slings and Rebozo wraps, which place the weight on one shoulder.
