Can I carry my baby facing outward in a Topa Top carrier?

In most carriers, including Topa Top carriers, it is technically possible to carry a baby facing outward.

However, this position is not recommended, as it does not fully support the baby’s physiological and developmental needs. It may create sensory overload, does not allow for a natural and comfortable body position, and shifts the center of gravity — making carrying heavier, less stable, and less comfortable for the caregiver.
In addition, in this position the baby has fewer opportunities to regulate stimulation through connection with the caregiver, and less ability to turn inward and relax.
Instead, it is recommended to choose more supportive alternatives, such as hip or back carrying, which allow exposure to the environment while maintaining closeness, regulation, and proper body support.
